As part of our 2026 impact partnership with HSBC Life, we're bringing free ultrasound screenings to DB this weekend — hosted at Embody Pilates. Open to absolutely everyone. If you live here, work here, or are just passing through — come get checked.

What to expect
- Each check-up takes approximately 10 minutes
- Results shared verbally on the day by our registered sonographer
- Written reports available on request — please indicate at booking; charged directly by SonoExpress at HKD 350

How to prepare
- Upper abdomen (liver & gallbladder): fast for at least 4 hours beforehand
- Lower abdomen (pelvis) or prostate: ensure your bladder is full at least 1 hour before your appointment — no fasting needed
- Breast, thyroid & testicular: no preparation needed — just come as you are
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing

Why we're at DB
We believe preventive health belongs everywhere — not just in clinics, not just in the city centre, and not just for people who already have easy healthcare access. Discovery Bay is a community built around wellbeing and movement, and we couldn't think of a better place to bring this conversation. Everybody is welcome — whether you're a DB local or coming across from elsewhere in Hong Kong. Embody Pilates opened their doors to make it happen.
About Phenomenally Group
We started on a rugby pitch in Hong Kong in 2019 by a group of friends who wanted to tackle cancer, and protect more people and lives from it, due to a personal loss. Today we're a registered Hong Kong charity running free screening drives across the city, built around one idea: that preventive health should be part of everyday life — not a privilege, not an afterthought, and definitely not something to put off.

Why "Protect Your Ball"?
In Cantonese, 波 (bo1) colloquially refers to breasts. In English, "ball" is a nod to testicular health. And of course, the ball is what brings us all together on the field. Three meanings, one tagline — one simple message: get checked.
